Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for OAC certification, the channel must meet the following criteria:

  • Requests are limited to main artists only. It is not necessary to request OAC certification for composers or authors.
  • The YouTube channel must:
    • Have at least one user-uploaded music video primarily dedicated to the artist’s music.
    • Have no policy violations.
    • Have more than 100 subscribers.
Not Accepted
The following types of channels are not eligible for OAC verification:
  • Label, radio, or influencer channels
  • Multi-artist channels (e.g., duets or collaborations)
  • YouTube Topic channels
  • Vevo channels
  • Channels not compliant with YouTube Community Guidelines
  • Channels related to the artist but not the official channel (e.g., tour or fan pages)

How to request: When they submitting a release, they can add their YouTube channel link in the "Additional Details" field. Our team will review and validate the channel to ensure it meets the necessary requirements. If the channel passes validation, we will proceed with the remaining steps. For already submitted releases, you can reach out to us by emails always.

If contacting via email, please provide us with:

  • The name of the release you distributed through us

  • The artist name

  • The release UPC code

  • The YouTube channel that needs to be upgraded to a YouTube OAC.
